When is the best time for maternity photography?
The ideal time for a Vancouver maternity photography session is between 28 and 34 weeks of pregnancy. At this stage your bump is beautifully round, you are still comfortable posing, and the photos capture the full beauty of late pregnancy. For twins or second pregnancies we recommend booking slightly earlier as changes appear faster.
According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the third trimester begins at week 28 — making it the perfect time to schedule your session.
What should I wear for my maternity session?
Nothing — we provide everything! Our Vancouver studio has a curated collection of 30+ maternity gowns in silk, lace, and chiffon in a wide range of colors. You are also welcome to bring personal items or cultural clothing to incorporate into your session.
Can my partner and children join the session?
Absolutely. We offer solo, couple, and full family sessions. Partners, siblings, and even pets are welcome. Family and couple portraits are some of the most meaningful images we create.
Do you offer a maternity and newborn bundle?
Yes! All maternity clients receive a $50 discount on their newborn session when booked together. This is our most popular option for Vancouver families welcoming a new baby.
