COMMON QUESTIONS
Quick Answers Before You Book
The recommended time to do the session is when the baby is around 11 months old, so you can have a few photos ready for the actual birthday.
We do not provide the cake, since babies can react differently to sugar and ingredients. We are happy to recommend a safe, baby-friendly option, or you are welcome to bring your own. We do provide props, backdrops, and a selection of outfit options when you book.
We have many setups available, you can choose your favourite and share any ideas you might have. We provide balloons and flags, but please check props availability with your photographer.
It’s common for some children to be unsure or hesitant at first. If your baby gets upset, it’s okay to take breaks and try again.
The cake smash package includes pictures of the baby with mom, dad, and older siblings. If you wish to include extended family members, like grandparents, there is an extra charge. Ask your photographer for more details.
