After the newborn session, the next milestone we capture is 100 days photoshoot. This stage is super cute, although babies get tried very fast, so the session has to be quick.
We like you to have a nice gallery and a successful session, so to make it safe and avoid redoing the session our recommendation is always to book and plan to take these lovely portrait pictures when the baby is ready and strong enough to stay fresh and happy for a 2-hour session.
There are also some signs that you can check and see if he/she is ready so you can get a better variety with more happy and smiley pictures:
- Check and see when you put the baby on his/her tummy. Does he/she easily hold their neck without any difficulties?
- For a few seconds, we would like him/her to give us comfortable/smiley reactions.
- This will be the main focus of this session as the baby is not able to sit yet.
- This also helps them to have them happier for family pictures.
We take some basket shots, tummy time on the beanbag, and a couple of family photos. During your session, we make sure we have a good variety and a great combination of photos in different setups.
We were here for our baby’s 100-day photoshoot last Saturday and I was looking for a studio that was in Burnaby, had great reviews, and prices that would reflect the quality of the photos. I’m so glad we chose JaNa Photography! I was initially bummed out that I had missed the golden window of 2 weeks old for newborn photos, but seeing that they offered a 100-day photoshoot, I decided to book. Email communication was super prompt, and our photographer Mahsa was very kind and gentle during the shoot. Our son was a bit fussy but she made sure he wasn’t rushed, and not forced to do poses he didn’t like. The photos? Even more impressive. I am through the roof looking at the previews and can’t wait for my photos to be done. Thank you for the amazing photos and I hope to be back for other milestones!
