This session was filled with so much love. From the touching sentimental pieces that the family brought to the overwhelming love that was felt when grandmother was holding her first grandchild. There is just so much to say about this shoot. The second set of grandparents traveled all the way from Australia to Canada for this special occasion.
The props that were used were from dad’s childhood and included his baby shoes, a toy horse and a lamp. We were able to use them for both the maternity shoot as well as the newborn photos. It will be so beautiful to see the pictures displayed on their wall with all the props to match and possibly have the next generation use them too. I can just imagine what the nursery will look like when it’s all done.
The baby was wonderful in all poses from bum up to side position, and even in the basket, we really were able to do it all at this studio session. It was especially touching to see the bond between grandmother and grandchild, she did an amazing job. This was an all-around perfect shoot and was so much fun to be with such wonderful people. This little one is surrounded by all the love that a newborn deserves and I think it most definitely shows in the images.
We are so blessed to love our job as much as we do.
