Every day, we receive inquiries to capture family photography in Vancouver. It’s so exciting to meet and see families with their new baby. Transitioning into this lovely family’s session, they came to us with their older baby boy.
We began with a sibling shot to ensure we had enough pictures of the two brothers. Transitioning further into the session, in our natural light studio, we proceeded with some family photos.
They were sitting on a white bed with a very dreamy background.Transitioning to another aspect of our session process, we always incorporate shots in our studio lighting as well. This time, the lovely family chose the mocha color background.

some tips to have a successful family photography.

1. Prepare your older child by talking to them and explaining why you are doing this photoshoot, especially if they are older than 3 years. For siblings younger than 2 years, just make sure they have a full tummy and have had a nap.
2. Consider the timing of the session: For the best results, we recommend morning slots for family photography. Toddlers in the afternoon are more likely to be sleepy and less cooperative.
