It lasts only a couple of weeks — and it is gone before you know it. Our studio specializes in capturing this exact stage. Sessions for Richmond families are conducted in our fully equipped Vancouver studio, just a short drive across the bridge. We handle every detail from setup to posing to editing, so all you need to do is bring your baby and enjoy the experience. A Studio Designed Around Your Baby

Our studio at 2465 Kingsway in Vancouver is purpose-built for newborn photography. It is warm, peaceful, and stocked with everything your session needs — from a curated collection of wraps, bonnets, and outfits to handcrafted props and multiple lighting setups.
Richmond families will find us easy to reach via Knight Street or Highway 99, with free parking directly outside. The studio is ground-level, fully accessible, and has comfortable seating so parents can relax while we work with your baby at their own pace.
Siblings are welcome, pets can be arranged with advance notice, and grandparents are always invited to watch. We want the whole family to feel at home.

Before your session, we send you a detailed preparation guide so you arrive feeling confident and relaxed. On the day, we begin slowly — letting your baby settle, feeding when needed, and moving through setups only when your little one is ready.

Newborn Photography Packages

We offer a range of newborn photography packages to suit different families and budgets. From intimate baby-only sessions to full family experiences with siblings and parents, each package includes professionally edited high-resolution images delivered in an online gallery.
Package pricing starts from $470 + GST. Because newborn sessions need to happen within the first two to three weeks of birth, we strongly recommend booking your spot during pregnancy — ideally in your second trimester — so we can hold a date around your due date and adjust as needed once your baby arrives.

How far is the studio from Richmond?

Our studio is located at 2465 Kingsway in Vancouver, approximately 15 to 20 minutes from most areas of Richmond depending on traffic. Many of our clients from Richmond find the drive very easy, particularly via Knight Street or Highway 99. Free parking is available directly outside the studio.

When is the best time to schedule a newborn session?

The sweet spot for newborn photography is between 6 and 14 days after birth, when babies are still deeply sleepy and naturally curled. We recommend booking during your pregnancy so we can reserve a flexible window around your due date and confirm the exact time once your baby arrives.

Do I need to bring anything to the session?

Just your baby and yourself. We provide all wraps, outfits, headbands, blankets, and props. Bring a change of clothes for yourself if you plan to be in any photos, and we recommend feeding your baby just before you leave home so they arrive full and sleepy.

Can my partner, older children, or parents join us?

Absolutely. Family portraits are some of the most meaningful images we create. Partners and siblings are always welcome as part of the session. If you would like grandparents or extended family present, just let us know in advance so we can plan the session accordingly.

How much does a newborn session cost?

Our newborn photography packages start from $470 + GST. Each package includes a set number of professionally edited digital images. Additional images can be added, and physical products such as albums and prints are available as upgrades. Full pricing details are available on our packages page.

Is studio flash photography safe for newborns?

Yes — when used correctly, professional studio flash is completely safe for newborns. We use a reflected lighting system specifically calibrated for infant photography. For babies who are sensitive to light or simply prefer it, we also have a beautiful natural light setup available in the studio.
