We had an incredible time! Jafar the photographer is an amazing baby whisperer. Our daughter didn't cry once during the whole photoshoot. He worked really fast, and knew exactly what to do. We are so impressed with Jafar and Nasim at JaNa photography. Got our newborn photoshoot done at their beautiful, spacious and clean studio. Both Jafar and Nasim were lovely and welcoming. We had the most amazing time doing our session with Jana photography recently. Everything from the initial communication, to the day of has been incredibly professional, and very clear. The newborn session went so smooth we kept wondering how come they know how to deal with our baby better than we do:). We just got to sit down, relax, and enjoy our coffees ☺️. Truly baby whisperers! The session most definitely has been one of the highlights of the first month with our little one. Now onto the images selection!

Me and my husband went to JaNa photography about two weeks ago for a maternity photo shoot - we were a bit apprehensive as none of us had never taken pictures in a studio before buy it turned out one of the best experiences of our lives! Nasim and the team made us to feel comfortable from the moment we arrived and things went very smoothly - she guided us through the session very well and the vibe in the studio was just amazing! We recommend the investment and now we will remember this moment forever through all the sweet moments Nasim captured with her camera.

I highly recommend! This studio was amazing to work with.  They made our newborn, 2yr old and senior French bulldog all feel at home and at ease.  The photo shoot went amazing because of it. I really wasn’t sure if I wanted to invest in maternity photos. I was due in March so I didn’t want outdoor photos. Plus, I didn’t want to find clothes that would ‘look right’ for this type of photoshoot as it’s one time use for me AND would take mental energy I didn’t have. With those requirements, I found Jana Photography!

I also wasn’t sure initially as photos aren’t cheap overall… but I ultimately decided it was worth getting as it marks the end of me being an individual and the start of being a mother.

I looked at a lot of studio, fine-art photographers but what really made them stand out for me was the style of photos (e.g. poses, editing) and the outfits they have on hand.

Day of, I made sure to get hair and makeup done, which I think helps you get into the mental space, and also has a better end product. I also looked at their instagram & website, sharing screenshots of what outfits and photos I liked as reference.

Nasim, the maternity phograopher, is awesome.    I definitely am not a dynamic model but she really is your hype woman when you’re “on set”. The photos that come right out of the camera look so great as her studio’s light setup and her eye for taking photos is top notch. What that means is even if you’re not getting the in depth edits for your select choices, you can buy the full album and still have other nice photos to enjoy from your photoshoot.
